At J. Puddleducks Outdoor Nursery, we are passionate about providing children with first-class care and education in a unique woodland setting. We welcome children of all ages and offer year-round opportunities to learn and grow through outdoor play, exploration, and adventure. From forest school-inspired activities to our parent and child and holiday clubs, every part of our practice is designed to support children’s natural curiosity and love of learning.
With over 17 years of experience and two established nurseries, you can be assured that your child is in safe, experienced hands. As a Forest School Association accredited setting, we believe in nurturing children’s innate desire to explore, investigate, and discover for themselves. Our environment and practice are carefully designed to encourage independence, resilience, and creativity, helping children to develop not just academically, but socially and emotionally too.
We follow the Scottish Curriculum, using Pre-Birth to Three and the Curriculum for Excellence. The principles of GIRFEC and SHANARRI underpin everything we do, ensuring that each child and family receives holistic care and support tailored to their individual needs.
